A' swarm of bees took possession of tho Triangle early on Sunday morning, and exhibited great oncrgy for a considerable tuna in what appeared.to be a vain quest for something congenial to swarm upon. They agitated the air for the full width of the road, roports the "Lyttclton Times," but did not appear to be dangerous to pedestrians. A similar occurrence was noticed about two .years ago almost in the same portion of High Street. On that occasion tho bees swarmed on the posts of a tramway barrier and wore secured by an enterprising beo-., keeper.
