Hamilton, director of tho Colonial Museum. Mr. Hamilton's expression has been happily caught by the artist, tho' truth of whose work is manifest to all acquainted with tho subject. "The annual examinations at Wcsfcport tindei the anspices of the Associated Boards of the Royal Academy of Music took place last week, when Miss Lily Stitt gained quite a distinction (152 marks) in tho performers' grade for pianoforte solo. Sho thus won the ii.A.B.—Licentiate Associated Board —degree. .
