In further celebration of the thirty-fourth anniversary of tho Trinity Methodist Sunday School, a tea and public meeting wore held on Wednesday evening. Both meetings were largely attended. The singing of the children, under the leadership of Air. F. Proctor, was excellent. Mr. N. Collie presided at tho o>gan. .addresses were given by the Revs. W. J. Williams, C. Porter, and E. P. Blamircs, and Mr. Bownnker, superintendent of the school. Mr. Bowmaker has unfortunately had to relinquish this charge on account of removal to Sydney. Recitations were given in good styte by several of the scholars. Over forty books were given as prizes to the scholars for work done and attendance. The report for the year was a good owe, and the statement of accounts showed a credit balance. The officers for t[i« ensuing year are:—Mr. T. Fathers, superintendent; Mr. L. Chisholm, secretary; Mr. P. Boxall, treasurer; Mr., E. Griffen, librarian; Miss "~ Chinchen. organist; Mr. Griffin, delegate to the S.S. Union.
