The Wellington Homing Club is holding th» Flock Eace from Auckland to Wellington on Saturday. Last night fifty-six pigeons, repro-' senting eleven lofts, wore forwarded to the northern city. Another, an interval race, is to bo hold on Saturday from Nelson to Wei-, lington for trophies presented.by Mr. M'Quarrie, of Nelson. The birds (lying in this,raco will leave the starting-point on Friday. Tha club's championship, from Auckland to Wellington,'will bo decided on Monday. There are twelve entries for this event, representing twolvo lofts, each member of the club being allowed one entry only.
