ST. JOHN AMBULANCE NURSING GUILD.

The monthly committee meeting of the St. John' : Ambulaiico District Nursing Guild was hold yesterday afternoon, at.which Mrs. S. A. liliodes, honorary Associate of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, presided. Them were ilso prraMifMesilnmes T. W. JUslop, W. 11. S. llurhoiiso,' J, P. Luke, H. W. Preston, W. B. Fisher (horn secretary), and Miss M. Ibggie. On the motion of Mrs. Rhodes.it was resolved that the committee of the St. John Ambulance Nursing Guild desire to offer their most gratcfill thanks to the Press, and all the collectors, workers, mid. contributors .of money, help, mid sympathy, on "Ambulance Saturday." District- operations for tho : mouth of October showed that Nurses Sexton nnd Macancircw had paid 1007 visits to the sick poor; 21 additional patients had been registered: 17 had 'jo'.-n discharged; 12 attended at the office daily; and-5 twice a day. Among Ihecasvs treated v/ere tiibiM-ciiloiis, alcoholic poisoning, enteric fever, bronchitis, senile decay, nbscess on 'oreast, paralysis, rlicumn tie fever, pneumonia, b'etioral debility, etc., etc. During the month three'deaths occurred.
