Lapland covered a mile and a quarter in 2min. 16 4-oscc. Gold Crest put up a good gallop of six furlongs. , Buccleuch went a mile and a half, but tho gallop was not impressive. Elevation, Zimmerman, and Astrakhan traversed a milo_ and a half in 2min. 43sec, Elevation finishing a little better than Zimmerman. Paritutu, Grand Slam, Gazeloy, and Maiiiapoto strodo ten furlongs in 2min. 14 3-sse'c, all being fully extended but Paritutu.
