A world's record for longevity is established by nine members of one family whose ages total 8.10 years, and who have gathered at a reunion at San Jcse California, to celebrate the 100 th birthday °f P utol ' Claws, the eldest of eight brothers and one sister. The ag'is of the others are:—Lucy Claws and Fred Claws (twins) ninety-eight, George Claws ninety-six, Paul Claws ninety-four, Harry Claws ninety, Ernest Claws eighty-eight, .lames Claws eightyfcur. and Frank Claws eighty-two. The Funeral tool; place at West Wickham, near Beckenhain, England, re.cenlly of Alfred llobert Plant, twentytlirco years old. who died from bloodpoisoning caused by a gnat bite.
