The danger of speeches of tho typo attributed to Mr. Keir Hardie is .very real to the people of Natal, because they havo had a serious Zulu war, ami'have lately been confronted, with indications of another one.; also because Mr. Hardio in his speeches at Home championed the cause of tho Zulus, and spoke in tho strongest possible manner on the opera-tions-of Natal. At the Council's meeting last night, Councillor Hammond .. moved— That this Council disapproves of any official reception to Mr. Keir Hardie." Tho motion was carried unanimously.
