The British troops will evacuate the hinterland of Aden, in Arabia. There have been disturbance in the hinterland of Aden, and collisions between British troops and the Arabs. Sydney, Octobcr 2. Miiller,- who was arrested noar Carowa on suspicion of having murdered a man named Rhono, and a woman named Majiiam in South Africa in 1903, has admitted his identity. ' In the House .of Representatives the Speaker announced that a telegram had been received from Sir Joseph Ward thanking tho Commonwealth for its congratulations on the establishment of the Dominion.
