Friday, November 28. (Before W.Lawrence Simpson, Esq., Warden.) APPLICATIONS. Gold Mining Leases. —The Premier Company's application for a gold mining lease of 10 acres near Doctor's Flat, Bahnockburn, was reserved for further consideration, —a petition, in the shape of an objection to the granting of the lease, having been presented by Mr Oolclough on behalf of himself and lfiO others. The Warden said he would at some convenient time visit the ground in question. He would let it be known when he intended to do so.—Thos. Hazlett and Co.'s application fir a lense of about 10 acres at Pipeclay gully was also reserved for further consider ition, for similar reasons. Water Rare. —Francis WelHnsja applied for ihree sluice-heads of the tail water in Bailey's gully. Objections made bv Chilton and others. The application was granted on condition that the water was taken in such a manner Ghat no tailings would be backed up on the claims above. Tail Race. —The Premier Hompany's application for a tail-race fioni the ground proposed to be leased, was gratred. ObjeC ions were offered by S. Champion, but it appeared there was room for two tail-races, and that there was no indention to interfere with objector's tail-race. Dam. —). Kennedy's application for a dam ou Brown's flat was granted.
