—♦ — Thursday, August 28. Extended Claims. —Ah Mong and five others, six acres, at Weeden’s Flat : granted. Protection was granted for thirty days for sluicing claim at Pipeclay Gully to John Simmons and others ; four men’s ground. Water Racis. —Alex. Allan and another, application for ten sluice-heads out of Commissioner’s Creek: referred back for further information.—Hen Chung’s application for one sluicehead from M‘lntyre’s Gully, Nevis, was granted. —Ah Man’s application Creek, Nevis, was ' Residence Areas. ■°' ; jus of Samuel Moon, John Shaw, ~ lAvart, W. Walker, and Edwin S. W. Campbell, for residence areas at Quartz Reef Point, which had been adjourned from last Court-day, came on for hearing. There were also further applications from Robot Higgins, John Simmons, John Adolph, J. W. Perriam, Robert Davidson, and John M'Kenzie, each for residence areas of one acre at Quartz Reef Point. All the applications were adjourned till next Court-day for further considerati m.— Hedlund’s application for one acre was granted.
