Thursday, August 28, 1873. (Before W. Lawrence Simpson, Esq., R.M.) CIVIL CASES. J. Mitchinson v. F, Foote.— £2s 7s. 9d. In this case, which was adjourned from last Courtday,'judgment w;is given for the amount claimed; failing payment, distress; and failing distress, two mouths’ imprisonment. Jas. Corse v. Alkx. Murray.— £2l 14s. Six pounds having been received since issue of summons, judgment was given for £ls 14s. ; failing payment, distress; failing distress, one month’s imprisonment. J. M'Cormickv. E. Hard’ng. — £7 10s. The summons in this ense was not served in consequence of the sudden illness of bailiff. Fresh summons accordingly ordered. J. Fleming v. This. Heron.—£7. Adjourned till 4th September on application of plaintiff, J. Pkrriam v. Anderson.— £2s 16s. Withdrawn by consent of plaintiff. LICENSES. Joseph Kuhtze’s application for a brewer’s license for premises at Hartley’s Gully, was granted.—Charles O'Donnell’s slaughtering license was granted.—Mrs Ann Box was granted permission to remove her licensed house.
