SECOND DAY. Last week we published a report of the races held at Novis on St. Patrick’s Day. -1 As usual on such occasions, a second day’s sport was improvised by the stewards ; and we now give tho results : —• Hurry Scurry of £5 : distance, one mile.— Mr Newton’s Pillbox won easily, beating live others. . . Publicans’ Handicap of £lO. —Mr Colclpngh’s Fenian; 1 ; Mr Newton’s Pillbox, 2 ; Mr McDonald’s Wexford, 3. Fenian won by a couple of lengths. Open, Race of £10: distance, one mile: weight for-age. (Winner of Publicans’ Handicap to carry 71 bs extra.) —Mr Colclough’s Fenian, 1 ; Mr Newton’s Pillbox, 2 ; Mr Harrison’s Maoi’i Chief, 3 ; Mr M‘Donald’s Wexford, 4. Fenian was never passed throughout; Pillbox was a good second;
