The weather yesterday, although threatening, turned out' tolerably fine, and there was a very large attendance. The races resulted as follows :—i Maiden Prate.— Capt. Hutchison’s ch ra Butterfly, (late Flying Scud), 4 yrs, Bst lllb —l. Mr H. Hill’s br m Queen Bee, 6 yrs, 9st 41b—2. Won by six lengths. Forburv Handicap.— Capt. Hutchison’s ch m Mabel, 4 yrs, fist 81b—1. Mr Derritt’a b g Tambourini, 4 yrs, 9st 101b—2. Mr R. Richardson’s Misfortune, aged, 7st filb—3. St. Kir. da Stakes. —Mr Nosworthy’s brn Hatred, 5 yrs, 9st 21b—1. Mr S. Haynes’s bg No Gentleman, 3 yrs, 7st 101b—2. Tambourini (Bst lllb) was scratched. Publicans’ Handicap.— Mr Nosworthy’s b m Hatred, 5 yrs, 9st 81b—1. Mr Bridger’s b g Merryman, aged, fist—2. Won by half a head, after a splendid race home between the two first horses.
