DUNE DIN. Tuesday, 10.30 a.m. The amended Estimates shew a reduction in the departmental expenditure of £7OOO. The Superintendent's salary is reduced to £BOO. The House refused to make provision for more than one non-oilicial Member of Executive. The police pay is reduced by a shilling a day. The members of the force in the city have sent in a round-robin threatening to resign. The opening of the University promises to be a great success. It is expected the Provincial Council will be prorogued on Thursday.
