CROMWELL JOCKEY CLUB.

0 — The annual mooting of the Club was held on Thursday evening, 11th inst., at the Town Hall. Present—Messrs Smitham (President), Marsh, Dagg, Dawkins, Preshaw, Fraer, Shanly, Harding, and Foote. The minutes of previous meeting having been read and confirmed, The President stated that they had met for the purpose of electing a new committee for the ensuing year, and to arrange the programme for a Hack Spring Meeting to be hold under the auspices of the Club. The election of olicers was then proceeded with, and the following was the result: — President, Mr W. Smitham (re-elected): VicePresident and Honorary Treasurer, Mr J. A. Preshaw ; Honorary Secretary, Mr M. Fraer. Committee: Messrs Dagg, Dawkins, Harding, Marsh, Jolly, Loughnau, Wrightson, Cowan, W. Shanly, Logan, and R. MoMorran. Auditors : Messrs Mackellar and Foote. Messrs J. Werner, A. McLean, D. A. Jolly, W. Fenwick, and J. A. Matthews were elected members of the Club. The Secretary was instructed to order 100 cards, and 500 printed circulars. The Secretary was also requested to write to members of the Club, repucsting them to forward their subscription for the current year. The Committee afterwards arranged aprogrammo for the Spring Meeting, particulars of which will be found in our advertising columns.
