On* word in charity: this hideous charge, Were-the lie truth,-should never,.-have beea uttered; ' > ... < ;' For Death had set Life's prisoners* a* large, And Time forgot whafjealousy had muttered. And English hearts and hearths must not ondurt The poison-fumes of a sensation story j Nor an unproyen tale, confuted, impure, Defraud na of our Byron's olassic glory.
