BURNSIDB STOCK MARKET. Wednesdav, December it. Fat Cattle.—l6B head varded of all descriptions. Owing to the trade holding short supplies competition was good and prices a shade higher than last wcjjk's. Best bullocks brought £l3 to £lo; extra, to £l7 ss; medium, £lO 5s to £l2; light, £8 to £10; best heifers, £ll to. £l3 10s; good, £0 10s to £lO 15s; light and inferior, £5 15 s to £B. Tat Sheep.—l4oo penned. This number being short of requirements competition was very keen, and prices for prime wethers and ewes advanced 2s per head; medium and inferior sorts were Is to Is (id per head higher. Best wethers, in wool, brought 28s'6d to ii.'is; medium, 2iis to 255; best shorn wethers, 26s to 28s; good do, 22s to 245; medium, 20s to 21s 6d; best ewes in wool, 25s to 27s 6d; medium, 20s to 22s Cd; best shorn ewes, 20s to 225; extra, to 275; good, 19s to 21s; medium to inferior, 15s to 18s.
Fat Lambs.—Only 9,') penned. There was. a strong demand for these, and prices as compared with last week were Is 6d to 2s 6d higher. Best, 21s to 23s :u\; good, 18s 6d to 20s; medium. 15s 6d to 16b oU
