INCHCLUTHA ROAD BOARD.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Inchclutha Koad, River and Drainage Board was held on .Monday evening. There were present Messrs Jos, Mosley (chairman), Smith, John Mosley, Anderson and Bell.

The balance-sheet for the period ending March ;>J, li).l;i, wan laid on the table, duly certified by the AuditorGeneral, showing a, balance to credit on March 31, ]<)l2, of £1 10s Bd, with expenditure to March ;:.l, I'M."., of £l4 .IDs 2d, leaving a debit balance at bank oji that date of £i:i 8s (id. The chairman wan authorised to sign same. Messrs Anderson and Bell reported on Contract No. 7, in connection with reducing the cost of the erection of Hood bank. After some discussion it was resolved that, the clerk wait on Mr Nelson (the board's engineer) in connection with same, ami also the plans and specifications for contracts No. ], 2. :>, 4 and (5, and report to the board at once.

The inspector (Mr (Juthbertson) reported that contract No. 5 (raising road opposite sections G and 8, block Nil!., would be completed in two days' time.
