WEDDING.

MEIKLE—TILSON. (Port Molyneux Correspondent.) A very pretty wedding of much local interest was solemnised on Wednesday last at the residence of Ml' and Mi's 1)> Tilson, Port Molyneux, the contracting parties being Mr Thomas Meikle and Miss Dora Tilson (neice of Mr and Mrs Tilson. The bride, who was given away by her uncle looked exceedingly pretty in a dress of cream silk delaine set off with the usual veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaid was Miss Mills (Balclutha), and Mr Jno. Meikle, brother of the bridegroom, officiated as best mau. Mr McLean (missionary) preformed the ceremony which took place on the verandah, which was nicely decorated for the occasion. Tho ceremony completed, the guests partook of a sumptuous breakfast. Here the usual toasts were proposed and fittingly responded to, after which the happy couple left by motor car, amidst a shower of rice and confetti for the north.
