TOKOMAIRIRO FARMERS' CLUB.

A meeting of the Committee of the Tokomairiro Farmers' Club was held on Wednesday. There wer-e present : Messrß Duthie (President), Hamilton, Paton, Hislop, Hewitson, Goodall, M'Donald, Porter, and Gordon (Secretary). The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed.

The following tenders were received for right to erect a booth on the ground on day of ploughing match *. — G. Goombe, Ll 10s ; F. Bastings, LI 15s ; F. Grant, L 4. The latter tender was accepted, The following tenders to supply the dinner were received : — G. Coombe, 4s 6d ; F. Grant, 3s 6d. The latter was accepted. The Secretary reported that the Committee appointed to canvass for subscriptions had been very successful, they having received LlB in cash (subscriptions in ail L 25), and a number of valuahle special prizes.

A vote of thanks was passed to the Committee for their efforts, and to the subscribers for their liberal support. It was resolved ihat all prizes be paid on* the ground on the day of the match. It was resolved that no wheel coulters be allowed in classes A B or 0 ; also that all entries be made not later than Monday, Ist July, after wliich date double entry fee to be charged. The President, Secretary, and Mr Porter were appointed a Committee to prepare a prize list.

The meeting then adjourned.
