A CORRECTION.
TO THE EDITOR,
Slr,— l noticed in your issue of the 14th inst. a statement to the effect that the Insurance Company had refused to settle with Mr James Anderson of Otaria, for two stacks of oats destroyed upon the 27th May last. A3 the statement is quite untrue, the reverse being the case, my claim being at once acknowledged, and the money paid over on demand I will feel obliged by your giving this a place in your next issue, the agent of the New Zealand Fire Insurance Co. here, Mr J.
