KAITANGATA SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

A meeting of the above School Committee was held in the schoolroom on the evening of Monday, March 4. The following members were present: — Messrs W. T. Smith '(in the chair), Aitchison, Darling, Shore, Hislop, T. Smith, and Welsh. The minutes of the former meeting were read and confirmed. Aniimber of letters: and circulars were received from candidates for seats on the Education Board soliciting support j and it was resolved that the correspondence be received. ? Mr Shore moved that the Secretary apply to the Education Board for a pupil - teacher, and for the . fitting •up of the ■ master's class-room, as . recommended by Mr Taylor.- • v - ' Seconded by Mr Darling, ahd carried.
