Plaintiff was nonsuited, there I being no evidence that the horse had been de* 'manded by plaintiff from defendant, with costs. '*' in all L 2 17s. Crichton v. Farquhar. -Claim, 1.4 10s, being L 3 10s value of -■. saddle lent by plaintiff to defendant, and Ll for detention. Mi* Henderson for plaintiff. Plaintiff was nonsuited without costs. .Dillon v. Grigor.- Claim, L9O. Mr Reid for plaintiff, and Mr Taylor for defendant, who paid Lio into Court, with 17s costs. Judgment for amount paid in only. Same v. Grigor, Stewart, and Co.— Claim, LlO 5s 6d. Mr Reid for plaintiff, and Mr Taylor for defendants. A fresh plaint was entered, and judgment was given by confession for L 55 5s 6d, with costs. Paterson and M'Lean (trustees of A. Ironside) v. M'Kinnon.— Claim, L - 10s. Mr Reid for plaintiffs. Judgment for amount olaimed, with costs of Court, lis. Same v. Moxhay. —Claim, Ll' 4s. Mr Reid for plaintiffs. Defendant admitted 16s, aud disputed the remainder. Judgment for full amount churned, with costs, Ll 6s 6d. Applications for transfer of licenses as followa : Thomas Keenan to F. S. Canning, of the Criterion Hotel ; F. S. Canning to John Piatt, ofthe Balclutha Hotel ; and G. Townsend to R. E. Dagg, of tlie Crown Hotel— were all adjourned for a week. Mr Henderson appeared iv support of all the applications.
