At the annual walking show of entires, held in Dunedin on Tuesday, under the auspices of Messrs Wright Stephenson, and Co , a pretty little white Arab was exhibited, " which possesses a somewhat singular history. The pony, a pure bred, by its name Ab-del-Kader, will he pleasingly recollected by those Who in years gone past paid a visit to Chiarini's Circus. He was presented o'rginally To Chiarini by the late unfortunate Emperor Maximilian. After travelling over America, Chiarini sold him to Mr Wilson, of the Hippodrome, and ho would probably still be performing bur for an accident on board the steamer Comerang some two or three years ago.
