This item, with i a deficiency of L 75 in the amount of ' subscriptions, shows a total lo3s of L 95 during the present- year. Mr George : Pram's term of office as president now ' expires, and according 1 to the usual practice'your Committee beg' to recommend that Mr Samuel Young, -vice, president, be elected president fop the ensuing- year, and Mr James Cullen be elected 1 vice-president. The following members of the committee retire by | ! rotation : Messrs John- Roberts, |j o ha Shenntfii, H, Richards, • and A. Kemp, shell.' Your committee also recommend that- Mr George Pram be np. pointed a member of the Committee, ia I the room of Mr Charles' Findlay, de< i ceased." ' The report was adopted. APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS. Mr Donald Young was elected president-, and -Mr James Cullen vice-presi-dent. Messrs Cullen and Allan were ap< pointed auditors for the ensuing 12 months ;' Messrs Roberts, Shennnn, Gow, Keinpshill, W. Grieve, A. M'Pherson, G. Pram, and D. Borne were elected members of the committee. A letter was received from the Secretary of the North Otago Association, requesting the ' Taieri Association to send judges to Oamaru at the forthcoming- Show. It was decided, after considerable discussion, to send judges to Oamaru this year, in consequence of the Com* .mittee having already pledged them' selves to do so. The following gentlemen were appointed : — For draught horses, Mr S. Young- ; thoroughbreds and hacks, Mr James Has tie ; shorthorn cattle, Mr John Andrews; poultry, Mr J. Snow ; agricultural implements, Mr J. Andrews. Lincoln sheep and Rbmney Marsh,. Mr John Roberts. A similar request from the Waikouaiti Association was declined. It was decided to hold the annual show at Outram on the 22nd of November next, and a Committee was appointed to make the necessary arrangements for the same.
