Milton, Thursday, 8 p.m. Road Board Elections. —Tokomairiro Board —Milton Subdivision : W. Tweedie, Joseph Parker. Milburn Subdivision : Alexander Wiseley. Southbridge Subdivision : James Allison. At a meeting of the Tokomairiro Farmers' Club the following members were present : Messrs Duthie (President), Inglis, Clark Paton, Hewitson, Sutherland, Lindsay, Scott, Salmond, Matheson, Gordon, and Porter. It was resolved that the Ploughing Match be held on Wednesday, June 20. Messrs Goldstein and Moeller offered £12 for the dies. Offer accepted. Mr Hislop's paddock, about a mile and a half from Milton, was the one settled on for holding the match. The following are the subscriptions : — Special, £13 7s Gd ; cash, £17 lis, and a large number of valuable special gifts. The County subscriptions to the match funds amount to £10 10s. <» —
