THE DRAMATIC CLUB.
TO THE EDITOU,
<5ir s—l5 — I a ncl many others were somewhat surprised to find from your report of the Athonasum Committee that the Dramatic Club had uot paid any part of the proceeds of their late entertainment tosvards the funds of the Athensera. Beeing that the entertainment was advertised to be for that special purpose, and that there was a good house, there should surely, be something feft even aftei paying expenses upon a liberal seal J , including refreshments, &c, &«. In the dramatic burlesque you recently published there was £5 mentioned as a donation. Why has it not been paid ? Although your article was supposed to be fiction, there seems to have been quite enough' truth to make it sting. .Perhaps the truth preponderated over the -fiction, and I think the Club should take warning and at once pay the money. —l am, &c.., ALbmbek.
