ORDINARY MEETING.
The ordinary fortnightly meeting was held on Tuesday evening. There' were present his Worship the Mayor and Councillors Mason, Hope, Kilgour, Tosh, and Hogg. The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Mayor reported that Mr Robert Hogg had been elected Councillor for North Ward, ana Mr w ' f^ert auditor for the Municipality. Mr J. 8. Fleming was appointed Town Clerk in the room of Mr Russell, resigned. An account-John Finn, wages as dayman, £27— was passed for payment. An account-Mr Docherty, £46 16s, contract for formation and metalling of Hasborough Road-was deferred for report by the Works Committee as to whether the work had been completed in terms of specifications. The following Committees. were appointed :—
