Waitepeka Deviation.
The following documents have been handed to us for publication by Mr Thomson, M.H.R.:--

** Deviation near Balclutha of Cluth% to Mataura Railway — Having' yisited ; the distriot in which, this deviation of the Clutha to Mataura line is proposed, I leg to report that in my opinion th:} line selected . by Mr brunton is the' better of the two-^-yiz., that by w.ay pf the Four-mile Greek.; ."...:
