ZINC V. IRON TANKS.
To the Editor. ■ Sir, — TVould you kindly allow mc space in your columns for the *tatement of the following case, in the hope of eliciting information which* to mc, and it may be to others, is of interest.
Some time ago I substituted a wooden box line , ! with zinc for an iroa water-tank which I bad formerly usred. Since the change r I find a perceptible in the taste of the water, and I have thought that it acts "deleteriously on the phj'aicsil constitution. The question I should like to ha\*e solved is this: Is zinc, when employed as above indicated ?qp' the' purpose of holding water, considered to be injurious to health ? Trusting that some of your readers wili be able to supf.ly the desired answer.—l am, &c.,
