Australian Tennis Players For N.Z.

WELLINGTON, Dec. 30. The two Australian tennis players now expected to take part in the New Zealand championships at Christchurch I next month are G. Worthington (New South Wales) and T. Warhurst (South Australia). Cabled advice of this has been received. by the chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, Mr A. H. Richards. Worthington 'and Iv. McGregor were originally expected, but the Australian L.T.A. refused perniission for them to come. The new advice thus ineans a reversai of that dec.ision in the case of Worthington.
