Britain's Medical Research Council tnday announeed new successes in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis by using another drupin eombination with streptomyein Which, when used alone, mav cause the bacilli to develoo resistance. The council warned, however. that althouah the new knowledge was «o imnortant that it was wortb issuing- a nreTiminary statement to doctors, the triais are not yet complete. 5
