Alighling from a stationary truck on ■a log bridge crossing the Wanganui River at ^.bout 12.30 p.m. yesterday, a two and a half year old infant, Francis Hemopo, son of Mr. Albert Hemopo, farmer and contractor, Kakahi,' is believed to have fallen into the river and drowned. An extensive search which was begun early in the afternoon and continued ' last night, "failed to locate the body.
