Move To Rescind Motion On Sunday Bowling
A notice of motion seeking to rescind tfie motion in regard to the Levin Borough Council granting the Levin Ladies? Bowiing Club pernjission to play on gpndays on the gyeen in the Pubjie Garcjens was lodged this morning with the town clerk, Mr. H. L. Jenkins, by Cr. J. JVfiller. • The motion granting the necessgry permission for the playing of non-competition games • only. on Sundays in yespect of this green was passed by the Levin Borough Council on Monday night. The discpsslon which preceded the pasgjng of the motion was hejd i|i committee, as was stated in yesterday's Sports Page of "The Chi?onicle." Cr. Miller was not in attendance at Monday night'® meeting. The council meets on January 16.
