Round-the-clock Road Patrols
• - Round-the-clock road patrols wUl be maintalned by the Transport. Department from Christmas Eve to early in the New Year. In the Wellington district all roads south from New Plymouth, Taumarunui and Gisborne will be constantly watched by traffic officers who will be in constant radio - telephone communication with each other. This move is being made to help i reduce, by encouraging the best of ■ motoring manners at all times, the. toll of accidents taken by the roads in past holiday seasons. MWMMMAUMAUnAUMA
