Mr. Peter V. Goodwin, second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A; Goodwin, Queen Street, Levin, was suecessful in completing the finals for his B.A. degree this year. Peter reeeived his primary education at the Levin Public School and. his secondary education at Horowhenua College. For the past three years he has been a student at Victoria University College, Wellington, and -intends to further his studies next year at Auckland University. Wing Commander C. A. Turner, O.B.E., of Wellington, and formerly of New Plymouth, representative of the R.N.Z.A.F. on the New Zealand joint services liaison staff, Melbourne, will relinquish the office early in the new year and will be succeeded by Wing Commander J. MacLean de Lange, D.F.C., of Auckland, now officer commanding the administrative wing of the R.N.Z.A.F. station, Whenuapai. On his return to New Zealand Wing Commander Turner will assume command of the R.N.Z.A.F." station at Taieri, which will re-open eaiuy in 1950 for the first intake under the compulsory military training scheme.
