Labour Federation. The 1950 Federation of Labour conference will be held in Wellington and, although no definite date has been fixed, it may be held earlier than intended. This information is contained in a circular sent to all affiliated unions by the national executive of the federation. The unions have been asked to submit the nominations for national officers and for four resident executive members of the national executive as well as any remits they wish to bring forward before February 24. Several trade union organisations have been pressing for an early conference of the federation.
