No Bond To Be Asked From Boxers At Games

WELLINGTON, Dec. 20. The New Zealand British Empire Games Association was rescinded its decision over the amateur bond for New Zealand boxers at the Games. This was the outeome of a meeting held in committee tonight between the exeeutive of the association and representatives of the New Zealand Boxing Association. The following statement was released by the chairman, Mr. A. D. Bayfield: — "After hearing representatives of the New Zealand Boxing Association and having in view the special circumstances affeeting the ' eonduct of the fortheoming Games at Auckland, the executive of the British Empire Games Association has rescinded its previous resolution requiring competitors to sign a declaration to refrain from turning professional for a term of two years."
