Fire Board's Quarterly Meeting
The quarterly meeting of the Otaki Fire Board was held recently at, the Otaki Fire Station with all memhers and 'the secretary, Mr. B. H, Rhodes, present. . Following the confirmation of the minutes of the previous meeting, the -secretary's flnancial statement to date and superintendent's report were approved, and accounts totalling £68 14s ld were passed for payment. Interior painting work was left in the hands of the local executive to see tliat it is carried out as promptly as possible, and" to call * fresh tenders if this is thought necessary. ' " The board further decided that: use 'of portion of the section at the back „ of the fire' -station be granted for the Rangiatea ' eele-; brations under certairi cohtflU'ons to be conveyed in writing to the church committee. . . .
