Prevention Better Than Cure. It happened a z a recent' sports meeting on the local domain. The entrants in the boys' bike race were .lined up and the starter was ready with his whistle and gun when .a voice from the spectatnrs called to , one of the competitors that his back tyre was flat. Without taking his eyes off his rival a few. yards ahead, the youngster calmly replied that he wanted it that way as it prevented him getting a puncture.
