Holiday Theatre

Under the direction of Russell Reid, late Arts Theatre, London, and F. M. Renner, producer and actor of Wellington, Theatre Guild will bring the Strand Theatre Company to Otaki during the Christmas holidays. The company will give two performances, on Friday and Saturday, December 30 and 31, in the Anglican Hall commencing at 8.30 p.m. The play "Happy as Larry" will be performed for the first time in New Zealand after a . successful London season at the Mercury Theatre. Wit, philosophy and a good story "one wife was good and one was bad," mixed with a robust humour, make this play irresistable. The Strand Theatre Company will also give two further performances in the Band Hall, Foxton, and one performance in Paekakariki, concluding the tour on Friday, January 6.
