v"' WELLINGTON, Dee. 12, ' After two and a-half hours of diseussion in eommittee tonight, the vexed question of New Zealand Empire Games boxers signing a bond of amateur status for two years after the Games, was till unsettled. The New Zealand Olympic and British Empile Games Assoeiation exeeutive comjnittee, at its meeting tonight, retired lhto eommittee at 7.45 p.m. At 9.40 p.m. they released the following statement: "After a full discussion, fihal consideration of the matter was postponed pending a conference with representatives of the New Zealand Boxing Assoeiation. ' ' The meeting was called as the result of a statement by Mr J. R. Simpson, ehairman of the New Zealand Boxing Oouneil, who said the eouncil would not ask boxers to sign a two-year amateur bond as required by the .Olympic Assoeiation.
