Mr. Hoiland and his Colleagues ^ wer meet at Government House hy The Governor-General 's staff and his aides, and were condueted to the Executive Council room, where ' Sir Bernard Freyberg greeted Mr! : Hoiland, ' who introduced in turn to the Governor his colleagues The w'arrant appoi-nting Mr. Hoiland as a member of the Executive Council was sfgned an-d then the warrant appointing him Prime . Minister. Mr. Hoiland then took Executive Councillor'.s oath and the oath of allegiance. He handed to ' the Gover'nor-Qeneral his recom- . 'mendations that his colleagues be [ appointed to the Executive Coim'cil ! and they were then sworn in.. It was not a very long ceremony, but was indeed a solemn o'6'c'as'iOn for the " administrators of the he'w , Oovernment. The Governor-General and Lddy Freyberg entertained Mr. Hoiland : and his' colleagues to morning tea, after which photogr'aphs were taken and the Prime Mihister, Sidney cGeorge Hoiland, and. h'is Ministers later returned to Parliament Buildings. O.ffices Occupied. Meanwhile, in Parliament Buildings last mfnute movin-g arrangements from the Ministerial and other offices were Completed. One of the last to relinquish oecupatioh was the former Minister of Finance, Rt. Hon. Walter Nash, and his last official act befor'e the Labour Government ended its term at 11 a.m. was to release a state - ment to' the Press. The Prime Minister, Mr. Hoiland, is not expected to take over the suite' from the outgoing Prime" Minister, Mr, Fraser,- until about two o'cloek this afternoon.
