It was, also announced that, although senior scouts (boys of 15 ahd over) , scout oflicers, and women cubjnasters may, in tffe United Kingdom, under certaih circumStances, wear berets, the Dominion executive has decided no,t to adopt this alternative form of Ijeadwearan(| accordingiy in New Zealand there* will be no change from the traditional scout hat.
