WELLINGTON, Dec. 8. A two-year-old ch^stnut filly by Tiderace from Aroma, owned by Mr. J. J. Maher, M.P., and his son, Mr. IS. Maher, was found dead on Mr. Maher 's f arm at Mungaroa today. Death had been eaused by a bullet. The Upper Hutt police are investigating. The filly was bred by her owners and was offered for sale a3 a yearling at Trentham last Janua'ry but she failed to reach the reserve and was passed in at 225gns.
