FATAL FALLS
-DUNEDIN, Dec. 8. Found at the foot of a ladder ^.n a cellar at his home, 47 London Street, by her m3ther, Edith Maude Suther land, aged 30, a saleswoman, died before medical assistance was obtained. Mr. Ernest G. F. Matthews, aged 70, indent agent, of 4 Henderson Street, died in the Dunedin Hospital about 2 p.m. after failing out of a window of the Commercial Travellers' Club, Bond Street, about 10.30 a.m. '
