INVERCARGILL, Dec. 8. Mr. John Rohert Mason, . busn manager, of tte Grovehurn sawmill, Tuatapere, died after being struck on the hack by a failing limb of a tree on Wednesday. He was assisting road clearing operations through bush country. The only person near the scene was the driver of a bulldozer who did not see the accident. Mr. Mason, aged 36, leaves a wife and two children.
