Tomorrow's Sports Teams
The Horowhenua Cricket Association's competition matches will be continued tomorrow. The undermentioned teams will be among those taking part: — Weraroa: Jukes, Weller, Hudson, Ryder, O'Donnell, Saunders, Norton, Nichols, De Castro, France (2) and T. Ryder (twelfth man). Otaki juniors: Cook (2), Templey, Julius, Dickson, Knox, Bevan, Blyth, Hughes, Roach and Condon. To meet at the Otaki Council Chambers at 9.30 a.m. Levin: Hudson, Galloway, Law, Miller, Meddings, Thomas, Scott, Wyness, Smith, Ahern, Barclay, Buckingham and Nash. To be on the ground at 12.45 sharp. Old Boys: N. and G. Sciascia, Lancaster, Hannan, Judd, 5 McClune, Small, Parsons, Frederikson, Gardiner and Allwood. To be on the Levin Domain at 1.30 p.m. sharp. Bowling. The following Central rinks will participate in friendly matches against Levin club: — At Levin, A. Anderson, Dalzell, Newton, Holdaway (s). At Central: Bruce, Sweetman, de Malmanche, Langelan (s). Softball. The draw for tomorrow's games in the Horowhenua Softball Association's competition is as follows: . Men's senior grade: Wanderers v. Ajax, No. 1 ground Cambridge Park, at 1.30 p.m. (Mr. Collier) ; Pirates v. Punahau, No. 2 groun-d Cambridge Park, at 3 ®p.m. (Mr. Collier) ;' Athletic v. Achilles, No. I ground Cambridge Park, at 3 p.m. (Mr. Rose) ; Kimberley v. Raukawa, Kimberley Park on Sunday at 2.30 p.m. (Mr. Greatbatch) . Women' and junior men: Wanderers Stars v. Punahau, No.. 3 ground Cambridge Park, at 1.30 p.m, (Mr, May) ; Achilles v. Kimberley B, No. 2 ground Cambridge Park, at 1.30 p.m. (Mr. Lacey); Achilles B v. Punahau, No. 3 ground Cambridge Park, at 3 p.m. (Mr. Skilton). , . Raukawa and Wandefers ladies are to stand down this Saturday to allow the other teams to play a similar number of games. , Girls' Marching. The undermentioned teams have been --chosen to represent the Manawatu Marching Centre in the" marching championships to be held in Auckland in January: — Caledonians (Levin) , Lanca^sters (Palmerston North) and Bandoliers (Otaki) . These teams were selected after considerable persual of official records of performances.
