Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 7. Further indication of the inter- ■ est and care ■ taken in the graves of British airmen on the Contin- • ent, is given by the memorial service to be held at Sandefum, near .Odense, in Denmark, on December 11. On that date in 1941 a Hampden bomber of No. 408 P.C.A'.F. Squadron, with an English, Canadian and New Zealand crew, was shot down after a ininelaying operation over Kiel Bay. The airmen were buried in a small Danish cemetery and now the -villagers are holding a service to commemorate their deaths. The New Zealander in the crew was Sergeant D. L. Todd; from Dunedin. Both the New Zealand and Canadian Air Headquarters in London will be represented at the Service, New Zealand by Squadron Leader T. B. Pledger, from Invercargill. W.WAV.VAW,VW.WJWi
